Saturday, January 25:

This morning, we got up extra early and packed up our buses. We had Mass at our hotel and then headed off to the National Pro-Life Summit, the pro-life conference featuring many prominent speakers and Students for Life of America. We had the option to attend several different sessions; topics included Bioethics, Men and Abortion, Relationships, Apologetics, Sidewalk Counseling, and many more.

I was able to meet Abby Johnson, former Director of Planned Parenthood and current pro-life activist, whom the movie Unplanned is based on. I also was able to meet Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr., who shared her story about abortion.

After the conference ended, we got on our bus and headed for home. We had fun on the bus playing games, singing, and having discussions about everything from the past few days. We ended the night with Night Prayer.
